ACT

Why ACT?
Tragic events at home and abroad remind us that terrorist attacks can occur at any time or place without warning.

Be our eyes and ears and help keep yourself, your family and your local community safe, by looking out for suspicious activity or behaviour and reporting it to the police, in confidence.

Connect Futures

Training and research for the prevention of extremism and exploitation.

Extremism and exploitation are on the rise in the UK and abroad. We believe that both can be prevented at grassroots level by empowering people.

When people feel isolated and marginalised, they can resort to extreme behaviour patterns as a way of regaining control of themselves and their surroundings. Our research has shown that these patterns can be broken if spotted early. That’s why we’ve dedicated our lives to help leaders and educators identify these before they become a threat.

Inspire

Inspire is a counter-extremism and women's rights organisation which seeks to address inequalities facing British Muslim women. By empowering women, Inspire aims to create positive social change resulting in a more democratic, peaceful and fairer Britain.

Jan Trust

JAN Trust is a multi-award winning non-profit organisation founded in 1989. The organisation supports and serves vulnerable women to lead better lives. We empower women, mothers and girls to feel part of society.

FAST

Established in 2007, FAST (Families Against Stress and Trauma) is a UK-based organization that was created to help families affected by a loved one travelling to Syria and Iraq. They provide support to vulnerable families and individuals because they understand the pain and distress it causes to those left behind. FAST believes that families matter and families make a difference.

SINCE 9/11

SINCE 9/11 is an educational charity established on the 10th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks which claimed the lives of almost 3000 innocent people.

Through our education programme, created in partnership with the UCL Institute of Education, we aim to teach younger generations about 9/11 and terrorism, in order to help prevent future atrocities and ensure that the victims of terrorism are never forgotten. Our resources will support you to discuss terrorism and other sensitive issues confidently in the classroom.
